For the first time, Xbox Game Pass is being bundled with a mobile plan in the US. Starting in November, T-Mobile customers with new T-Mix plans can choose Game Pass Ultimate or Premium as part of their plan perks.
What is T-Mix?
T-Mix is T-Mobile's latest plan system. The idea is simple: each plan comes with a certain number of "Picks" and you use these Picks to select the perks you want.
Options include Netflix, Hulu, Apple TV, YouTube Premium, Apple Music, ESPN, and now Xbox Game Pass. New phone promotions also use Picks from the same pool.

The more lines you add, the more Picks you get. Unused Picks do not roll over to the next quarter.
What does this mean for Game Pass?
According to Microsoft's announcement on Xbox Wire, T-Mix users can pick from two tiers:
- Game Pass Ultimate
- Game Pass Premium
Both tiers come with the standard game library. You can play on Xbox consoles, PC, or via Xbox Cloud Gaming on devices like smart TVs.
Can you change your perks?
Yes, but not at any time. T-Mobile gives users a 10-day window every 90 days to change their selections through the T-Life app. Plus, you must reselect your perks once a year.
In our view, this is a big step for Game Pass. Now, a gaming subscription sits right alongside Netflix. A similar deal already exists in the UK with EE, but this is a first for the US.
What about gamers outside the US?
T-Mix is only available in the US. So, this offer isn't accessible from outside the country. If you want to get Game Pass, you can start your own subscription with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gift card.
