Wild Rift is making a major move this winter season with an exciting Engagement Event and the long-awaited Shan Hai Scrolls skin series officially announced for fans!
As confirmed by Riot Games on Twitter, these new "exclusive" skins and the accompanying event kick off on December 11, 2025. Here are all the details you need.
New Skin Series: Shan Hai Scrolls
Inspired by Chinese mythology, the Shan Hai Scrolls theme transforms champions into ancient dragons and legendary creatures. With this series coming to Wild Rift, the in-game visuals are reaching a whole new level.
| Champion | Skin Name | Main Features |
| Kog'Maw | Shan Hai Scrolls Kog'Maw | Abilities feature golden and blue energy effects, with ancient symbols and seals visible in the visuals. |
| Fizz | Shan Hai Scrolls Fizz | Instead of the usual Sea Monster (Ultimate), Fizz now summons a legendary golden-horned water dragon. |
| Gnar | Shan Hai Scrolls Gnar | In Mini Gnar form, he appears as a cute scroll-etched figure; in Mega Gnar form, he becomes a mighty warrior adorned with jade and fire elements. |
Major Engagement Event: Missions and Free Rewards
Launching alongside the new skin series, the Engagement Event aims to boost player activity. Typically lasting 2-3 weeks, this event offers players a variety of missions with free rewards up for grabs.
-
Expected Missions: Win a certain number of games, team up with players using the new skins, or deal specific amounts of damage in daily or weekly challenges.
-
Rewards: Shan Hai Scrolls themed emotes, Poro Coins that can be exchanged with event currency, and a guaranteed random skin chest at the end of the event.
-
Goal: Encourage players to spend more time in-game exploring the new skins and content.
Release Date and Market Impact
The official start date for the new skins and event is December 11, 2025. This strategic timing aims to boost player engagement and skin sales ahead of the holiday season.
