ETS2's Iceland expansion arrives November 10. Explore 14 cities, the Ring Road, stunning fjords, and the Northern Lights. Watch the new trailer and discover all the details.
The Iceland expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is launching on November 10, 2026. SCS Software revealed the release date on Steam along with a brand new trailer.
SCS first announced this expansion in June 2025. It's the new map following Nordic Horizons. After nearly a year and a half of waiting, it's finally here.
According to the announcement, the map features 14 cities and settlements. At its heart lies the iconic Ring Road (Route 1), which circles the entire island. Expect diverse regions, new industrial zones, and plenty of fresh delivery jobs.
Iceland offers a very different experience from the familiar European roads of ETS2. The speed limit is 80 km/h even on highways and 50 km/h in towns, so expect a slower but scenic journey.
Long trailer combinations are not available on this map. Only single long trailers are allowed, no double or B-double trailers in Iceland.
This map is perfect for those who prefer to enjoy the journey rather than rush for quick cash. Night drives along the fjords under the Northern Lights could be some of the most memorable moments in ETS2.
SCS hasn't announced the price yet. Iceland will be sold as a separate DLC on Steam. You need to own the base game, Euro Truck Simulator 2, in your library to play.
If you haven't picked up ETS2 yet, now's the perfect time to get ready before November 10. Add the game to your Steam account with a Euro Truck Simulator 2 key, and top up your funds for the DLC with a Steam Wallet Code.
