Wild Rift is making a major move this winter season: get ready for a massive Engagement Event and the highly anticipated Shan Hai Scrolls skin series, officially announced for the game!
As confirmed by Riot Games on Twitter, these new exclusive skins and the accompanying event will kick off on 11 December 2025. Here are all the details.
New Skin Series: Shan Hai Scrolls
Inspired by Chinese mythology, the Shan Hai Scrolls theme transforms champions into ancient dragons and legendary creatures. With this series arriving in Wild Rift, in-game visuals are taken to the next level.
| Champion | Skin Name | Main Features |
| Kog'Maw | Shan Hai Scrolls Kog'Maw | Abilities feature golden and blue energy effects, highlighted with ancient symbols and mystical seals. |
| Fizz | Shan Hai Scrolls Fizz | Instead of the classic Sea Monster ultimate, Fizz summons a legendary water dragon with golden horns. |
| Gnar | Shan Hai Scrolls Gnar | In Mini Gnar form, he appears as a cute figure inspired by ancient scrolls; in Mega Gnar form, he transforms into a mighty warrior adorned with jade and fire elements. |
Major Engagement Event: Missions and Free Rewards
To celebrate the launch of the new skin series, a special Engagement Event will boost player excitement. This event typically lasts 2-3 weeks and offers free rewards for completing a variety of missions.
-
Expected Missions: Daily and weekly tasks such as winning a certain number of matches, teaming up with players using the new skins, or dealing a set amount of damage.
-
Rewards: Shan Hai Scrolls-themed emotes, Poro Coins, and a guaranteed random skin chest at the end of the event, all redeemable with event currency.
-
Goal: Encourage players to spend more time in-game and enjoy the new skins.
Release Date and Market Impact
The new skins and event are officially set to launch on 11 December 2025. This is a strategic move to boost player activity and skin sales ahead of the holiday season.
