Wild Rift is making a major move this winter season: a massive Engagement Event that will get players hyped, along with the long-awaited official reveal of the Shan Hai Scrolls skin series!
As confirmed by Riot Games on Twitter, these new "limited edition" skins and the accompanying event kick off on December 11, 2025. Here are all the details.
New Skin Series: Shan Hai Scrolls
Inspired by Chinese mythology, the Shan Hai Scrolls theme transforms champions into ancient dragons and legendary creatures. With this series coming to Wild Rift, the bar for in-game visuals is being raised to a new level.
| Champion | Skin Name | Main Features |
| Kog'Maw | Shan Hai Scrolls Kog'Maw | Abilities feature golden and blue energy effects, with ancient symbols and seals woven into each animation. |
| Fizz | Shan Hai Scrolls Fizz | Instead of the usual Sea Monster ultimate, Fizz summons a legendary golden-horned water dragon. |
| Gnar | Shan Hai Scrolls Gnar | Mini Gnar appears as an adorable scroll-inspired figure, while Mega Gnar transforms into a fierce jade-and-fire-themed warrior. |
Major Engagement Event: Missions and Free Rewards
To celebrate the launch of the new skin series, a major Engagement Event is coming to boost player excitement. This event typically lasts 2-3 weeks and offers a range of free rewards for completing various missions.
-
Expected Missions: Daily or weekly tasks such as winning a set number of games, teaming up with players who own the new skins, or dealing specific amounts of damage.
-
Rewards: Shan Hai Scrolls-themed emotes, Poro Coins that can be exchanged using event currency, and a guaranteed random skin chest at the end of the event.
-
Goal: Encourage players to spend more time in-game exploring the new skins and content.
Release Date and Market Impact
The official launch date for the new skins and event is December 11, 2025. This is a strategic move to boost player activity and skin sales right before the holiday season.
