Chucky Is Leaving Dead by Daylight: Last Chance to Buy Before November 24
Behaviour is removing the Chucky chapter from stores on November 24. Find out what happens to existing owners and when the last chance sale starts.
Table of Contents
Chucky is officially leaving Dead by Daylight. Behaviour Interactive has announced that the Chucky chapter and all related content will be removed from both in-game and platform stores on November 24, 2026.
What Happened?
Chucky joined the game in November 2023. Now, almost three years later, the license is expiring. Behaviour stated in their announcement that it's time for the Chucky chapter to leave the shelves.
After November 24, you won't be able to purchase Chucky anymore. So if you want to add him to your collection, you have just over a month left.
What About Existing Owners?
The bad news is only for new players. If you purchase Chucky and his cosmetics before November 24, you'll keep access to them. This also includes Tiffany's separately sold Legendary outfit.
Behaviour will continue to provide bug fixes for the character, but there will be no new add-ons.
Last Chance Discount
There's a "Last Chance" sale for all Chucky chapter content. The discount starts on October 26 and runs until the removal date. According to UMGamer, the discount is 50% on all platforms.

Licensed Killers Are Leaving One by One
Chucky isn't the first. Hellraiser's Pinhead was removed from the store in 2025. Michael Myers and Laurie Strode from Halloween were also pulled earlier this year. Even the Stranger Things characters were removed for a period, though they returned after a new deal.
For players, the lesson is clear: if you love a licensed character, don't wait for the removal announcement to buy. Stranger Things shows that a comeback is possible, but it's never guaranteed.
If You Haven't Bought the Game Yet
If you're new to Dead by Daylight, you'll need the base game first. Get your Dead by Daylight key and add the Chucky chapter to your library before November 24.
