Console or PC? (The Hybrid Revolution)
According to industry sources and Asha Sharma’s statements, Project Helix stands out with these breakthrough features:
-
Multi-Store Support: Leaks suggest Project Helix may open the doors to platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG, not just the Microsoft Store.
-
Hybrid Interface: The device offers a simple console-style interface for TV gaming, but can also transform into a full desktop PC when needed.
-
GDC 2026: Microsoft will share hardware specs and developer tools with its partners at GDC (Game Developers Conference) from March 9–13.
The possibility of Project Helix supporting your entire Steam library could instantly make it the world’s most powerful “living room PC.”
