WWE 2K24 is about to leave digital stores. Don’t miss your last chance to get it.
In recent days, the gaming world has been buzzing with news about a popular title being removed from digital stores. At the center of this is WWE 2K24. For players who actively enjoy its online modes, this announcement is especially impactful.
| Event | Date |
| Delisting From Digital Stores | January 31, 2026 |
| Full Server Shutdown | March 31, 2026 |
Starting January 31, 2026, WWE 2K24 will no longer be available for purchase on Steam, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store. All DLCs and in-game currency (VC) will also be removed from sale.
When the servers go offline, many of the game’s core features will become inaccessible:
Online Multiplayer: You won’t be able to play online matches with friends or other players.
MyFACTION: This mode is fully online-based and will be inaccessible.
Community Creations: Downloading arenas, belts, or custom characters made by other players will no longer be possible.
Important Note: If you already own the game or purchase it before these dates, you’ll still be able to play offline modes like Play Now and Showcase. The game won’t be removed from your library, but only online features will be disabled.
2K Sports has a history of retiring online servers for their sports games roughly two years after a new entry is released (WWE 2K25 is currently available). However, the early retirement of WWE 2K24, which offers rich content and special tributes like Bray Wyatt, has reignited the debate about digital game ownership.
If you’re thinking about buying the game or your favorite character’s DLC packs, you have until January 2026. Be sure to watch for sales and special deals!
