Hyrule Relics: 40th Anniversary Special Toy Collection

Instead of a new game or a big remastered bundle, Nintendo has announced a "Classic Weapons" toy series that pays tribute to the roots of the franchise. This collection features high-quality toy versions of the most iconic weapons we've used since the original 1986 game.

What's in the Collection?

• The Master Sword (Pixel Edition): Inspired by the 8-bit look from the original NES game, this Master Sword toy features sound effects and lights. When unsheathed, it plays the classic "Secret Discovery" sound.

• Hylian Shield (Foam & Plastic): Lightweight yet highly detailed. The back straps are adjustable to fit heroes of all ages.

• Classic Boomerang: Designed just like in the original 1986 game, this boomerang is soft to the touch but built to last. (We can't promise it'll come back!)

• Ocarina of Time (Functional Toy): A mini instrument that plays legendary melodies like "Zelda's Lullaby" and "Epona's Song" when you press the buttons.

While there wasn't a big game announcement, Nintendo quietly made some small gestures:
