Honkai: Star Rail version 3.8 rolls out with a unique three-phase schedule, spanning a total of 8 weeks. The highlight this week is the end of Phase 2 and the much-anticipated start of Phase 3.

Here’s everything you need to know about Phase 3, launching on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 (usually around 1:00 PM Turkey time):

Honkai: Star Rail 3.8 – Phase 3: “Farewell to Memories”

This is the final stretch of the update, lasting about 15 days (January 28 – February 12, 2026). It’s a grand finale especially for fans of Sunday and Aglaea.

Character Event Banners

No new 5-star character is being introduced this phase, but two of the most powerful and beloved characters make their comeback:

• 5-Star Characters:

  • Sunday (Imaginary / Harmony): A must-have support for teams using the “Summon” mechanic, boosting energy and critical damage for the squad.

  • Aglaea (Lightning / Remembrance): A high-speed, crit-focused DPS unit with powerful battlefield control.

• 4-Star Characters:

  • Tingyun (Harmony)

  • Yukong (Harmony)

  • Dan Heng (Hunt)

Light Cone Event Banners

Signature Light Cones will also be available for a limited time:

• A Grounded Ascent (Sunday’s signature)

• Time Woven Into Gold (Aglaea’s signature)

What Awaits You in Phase 3?

1. Treasure Hunt Event: At the end of the update, join this event for a chance to earn “Self-Modeling Resin” and plenty of “Stellar Jade”.

2. Apocalyptic Shadow – New Phase: Near the end of the update, a fourth stage will be added to challenge your strategic skills.

3. Double Reward Events: Speed up your relic farming with events like Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange.
