Discover the new Galactic Campaign system, Control Center terminal, and Exosuit buffs in our guide.
A massive update has launched, taking the galactic war to a whole new level for the loyal soldiers of Super Earth. The Machinery of Oppression (6.3.0) patch completely rewrites the main mission system, activates a mysterious area on your ship, and introduces major balancing changes that shake up the frontlines.
Here are all the critical highlights from this huge update, shared by the developers with the note, "We're working to make spreading Managed Democracy easier for you."
A summary of the new mechanics and balance updates added to the galactic war:
| Category | Impact & Details |
| New Core System | Galactic Campaigns Era Begins |
| Ship Feature | The Control Center Terminal opposite the Armory is now active |
| New Environment | The autumn-themed Forest (Fall) biome has been added to the map |
| Mechanical Buffs | All Exosuits now have increased HP and reduced cooldowns |
| Enemy Balancing | Heavy damage from Terminids has been generally reduced |
The new Galactic Campaigns system, described by the developers as "the next evolution" of the Major Order system, is now live. Missions will now last between 1 and 3 weeks and feature a much broader narrative. The biggest change is in the rewards; if Helldivers squads complete the majority of Major Order missions within a campaign, they'll earn not only medals but also special campaign rewards that can directly impact gameplay.
The mysterious screen inside our Super Destroyers, right across from the Armory and idle for months, has finally been updated. You can now access this terminal to track ongoing Galactic Campaigns, learn backstories, and see what's at stake. There's also an Archive tab, where both new and returning soldiers can catch up on all the key moments from past campaigns.
Great news for fans of heavily armored mechanized robots. With this update, the base HP of all Exosuits has been increased from 1600 to 1800. Arm HP is now 800, and leg HP is 550, making them much more durable. Most importantly, tactical deployment (cooldown) times have been reduced from 10 minutes to 8 minutes, so you can deploy robots to the battlefield more frequently.
Hunters & Stalkers: The direct damage from the most frustrating bug types (including tongue and claw attacks) has been noticeably reduced.
Chargers: The turn angles of Charger bugs have been adjusted, making them a bit easier to dodge. After missing an attack, their recovery time has increased by 1 second, but as a trade-off, their straight-line running speed has been slightly increased.
