Crimson Desert 1.06.00 Patch: Are You Ready to Ride Tigers?

The world of Crimson Desert gets even deeper with the 1.06.00 update. Pearl Abyss has listened to player feedback, delivering technical improvements and introducing new mechanics to make the game world far more interactive.

Special Mount System

You’re no longer limited to just horses! Now you can tame and ride a variety of wild animals across Pywel’s untamed lands:

• Mount List: Bear, Wolf, Tiger, Lion, Deer, Boar, Iguana, Kuku Bird, and even Camel can now be used as mounts.

• Taming: To earn the trust of wild animals, you’ll need to feed them or defeat certain types.

• Special Equipment: You can buy unique saddles for each mount type from saddlery shops in different cities. For example, wolf saddles are sold in Hernand and Equinsher.

Material Extraction & Enhancement

One of the biggest new features is the “Extraction” system, allowing you to:

• Recover materials used in previous upgrades (refinement).

• Certain gear like “Visiones” can now be upgraded and come with extra sockets for equipping Abyss Gear.

Combat & Skill Updates

• Oongka’s New Power: Oongka now has brand new unarmed combat skills.

• Sword Sheaths: A long-awaited visual detail, sword sheaths have finally arrived. Your swords will now be visible in their sheaths, not floating in the air.

• Sigil of Valor: With this new item, your pet dogs can now attack enemies in battle.

New Fun: Claw Machine

A claw machine has been added to the “Laughing Marionette” region. Here, you have the chance to win lighting items, unique hats, and even rare Abyss Artifacts.

Technical Improvements & Mac Support

• Night Tone Mode: A new visual mode option has been added for night scenes.

• Mac Optimization: HDR support for Mac users has been improved and rare GPU crash errors have been fixed.

• UI Updates: Convenient buttons like “Clear All” and “Dismantle All” have been added to inventory management.
