WWE 2K24 is leaving digital stores soon. Grab your copy before it’s gone!
In recent days, the gaming world has been buzzing with headlines about a popular title being removed from stores. At the center of this news is WWE 2K24. This announcement is especially concerning for players who actively enjoy its online modes.
| Event | Date |
| Removal from Digital Sale (Delisted) | 31 January 2026 |
| Full Server Shutdown | 31 March 2026 |
As of 31 January 2026, you’ll no longer be able to purchase the game from Steam, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store. All DLCs and in-game currencies (VC) will also be delisted.
Once the servers go offline, many of the game’s main features will no longer be accessible:
Online Multiplayer: You won’t be able to play online matches with friends or other players.
MyFACTION: As this mode is fully online, it will no longer be accessible.
Community Creations: You won’t be able to download arenas, belts, or custom characters created by other players.
Important Note: If you already own the game or purchase it before these dates, you’ll still be able to enjoy offline modes like "Play Now" and "Showcase". The game won’t be removed from your library; only online features will be disabled.
2K Sports has a long-standing policy of shutting down servers for their sports games about two years after a new title is released (WWE 2K25 is already out). However, with the rich content and special tributes like Bray Wyatt in WWE 2K24, this early retirement has reignited debates around digital game ownership.
If you’re considering buying the game or grabbing DLCs for your favourite characters, you have until January 2026. Be sure to watch out for sales and discounts!
