The shy blacksmith of Pelican Town and the cheerful shopkeeper from the desert are no longer just merchants—they’re now potential life partners! ConcernedApe calls this update “the final big piece completing social relationships.”

Key Changes in the 1.7 Update
With Clint and Sandy added to the marriage pool, here’s what’s changing in the game dynamics:

Clint’s Shop: If you marry Clint, his shop will be managed by an assistant on certain days (when he’s not there) or run by an automated counter system.

Sandy’s Oasis: When Sandy moves to your farm, her Oasis shop will be taken over by a new character assigned by Mr Qi.

New Heart Events: New 10-heart and 14-heart events have been added: Clint’s story focuses on overcoming social anxiety, while Sandy’s explores her longing for life between the desert and the valley.
