Bushiroad's Palworld Official Card Game launches globally on July 30. Discover gameplay, deck building rules, and the competitive roadmap here.
Bushiroad is set to launch the Palworld Official Card Game worldwide on July 30, 2026. Known for competitive card games like Cardfight!! Vanguard and Weiß Schwarz, the publisher now brings the Palworld universe to life as a physical tabletop game.
This is a competitive two-player card game where players build Pal teams, deploy them, gather resources, and construct buildings to control the field. Each Pal comes with unique abilities that support different strategies. The standout feature is the "Work Suitability" system, directly inspired by Palworld's base-building mechanics, adding a fresh layer of gameplay that sets it apart from typical licensed card games.
The first products, releasing on July 30, include two trial decks—"Dawn of Palpagos Red-Blue" and "Dawn of Palpagos Green-Purple"—plus a Dawn of Palpagos booster pack. All cards feature original illustrations, not just game assets, offering a rich visual variety across Pal, event, equipment, and building cards.
When building a deck, you can choose up to two of the four colors: Red, Blue, Green, and Purple. In addition to your chosen colors, you can include Colorless cards that are usable in any deck, creating a 50-card deck. You can have a maximum of four cards with the same name. For tournaments outside Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea, only English main decks are accepted.
Bushiroad has partnered with Yuhodo Inc. to ensure game balance, signaling a commitment to ongoing support and serious competition rather than a one-off release. Organized play events at local game stores and regional tournaments are already confirmed. Regional qualifiers will kick off this fall, with top players advancing to compete for the World Championship title at the 2027 Card Game Festival.
Demo sessions have been held at Bushiroad Expo events since March and at Tokyo Card Game Festival 2026 in May. Throughout July, over 200 retail locations are hosting additional demo events. Preorders are open at Anime Expo and similar conventions, as well as through local game stores.
The announcement of this card game came just days after Palworld's Steam 1.0 release reached nearly 1 million concurrent players. Pocketpair is also expanding the brand with Palworld: Palfarm, a farming simulation spin-off inspired by Stardew Valley, showing that Palworld is being built as a long-term franchise, not just a one-hit wonder.
If this card game has you eager to dive back into Palworld, you can top up your Steam wallet without sharing credit card details. Instantly buy the game or send it as a gift to a friend using a Steam Wallet Code.
The card game will launch simultaneously worldwide in English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese.
You can choose up to two colors, plus include Colorless cards that can be used in any deck.
For tournaments outside Japan, Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and South Korea, only English main decks are allowed.
