Published by Konami and developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin, this game begins in Paris, 1499, after a fire unleashes monsters into the city. Trevor Belmont and his daughter Rose hunt these creatures, but Rose soon finds herself caught in a dark conspiracy.
The game launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A Switch version is set for 2026, with no specific date yet. There are Standard and Midnight editions, so check the store page for pricing details.
The first story DLC for Crimson Desert is a paid expansion. According to VGC, you’ll be able to command your own ship, set sail for uncharted islands, and search for treasures and sunken ruins underwater.
VGC doesn’t specify all the platforms, but Siliconera lists Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC for October 15. Since this information hasn’t been double-confirmed elsewhere, check the PlayStation Store page before purchasing.
Published by Bandai Namco and developed by TOSE, this remaster introduces quality-of-life upgrades like target markers, an option to disable random encounters, and a high-speed mode for auto-battle. Graphics and sound effects can be adjusted to keep the original feel. The battle system remains the classic A-LMBS.
RPGSite lists October 15/16, and Gematsu says October 15 in Japan and October 16 worldwide. If you’re in Turkey, expect the game on October 16.
Developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Atari, Retro Roundup brings together five classic games: Toy Story (1995), Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue! (1999), Toy Story 2 (1999), Buzz Lightyear of Star Command (2000), and Toy Story Racer (2001). As a bonus, A Bug’s Life (1998) is also included.
Toy Story 3 Complete Edition is a remastered version of the 2010 game, running at 4K and 60 fps. It includes previously PS3-exclusive content, like playing as Zurg in Toy Box mode. You can buy the games separately or as a double pack, and a physical edition launches on the same day.
With so many releases dropping on the same day, it can be tough to decide where to spend your funds. If you’re buying from the PS Store, loading your account funds in advance lets you purchase instantly on launch day without waiting in line. You can do this with a PlayStation Store gift card.
Yes, but not on October 15. The Switch version is set for 2026, with no exact date announced yet.
October 15 in Japan, October 16 worldwide.
Sources don’t clearly state the requirement. Since it’s an expansion, it’s likely you’ll need the main game, but this hasn’t been confirmed.
With all these releases dropping together, planning your purchases ahead of time is the smartest move, as October 15 will be the busiest day.
