Youtooz has announced that three new characters will be joining its Mass Effect figure series. While only silhouettes were shared, fans instantly recognized Mordin, Joker, and Liara.

What Did Youtooz Share?

On X, Youtooz posted the silhouettes of three characters without naming them. But the shapes were unmistakable: the Salarian scientist Mordin, Normandy's pilot Joker, and the Asari archaeologist Liara.

The post included a notable line from the games: "I wish I had more time to study all of this..." with a sad face emoji. Given the timing, many saw this as a subtle farewell to BioWare.

Who Was in the Series Before?

These aren't the first Mass Effect figures from Youtooz. Previous releases include:

• Garrus
• Tali
• Wrex

For reference, the official Tali figure sold in BioWare's store stands about 11 cm tall. The size and price of the new figures haven't been announced yet.

Details May Arrive on N7 Day

For Mass Effect fans, November 7 is a big deal. The date references the N7 military rank from the game, and major series news often drops on this day. Youtooz's teaser came just five days before N7 Day, so it's likely that release dates and prices will be revealed on November 7.

Good News in a Tough Time

This announcement comes after a tough week for the series. On October 21, EA announced the closure of BioWare and the cancellation of the next Mass Effect game's development. Around 400 employees were laid off as part of the decision.

Still, fans haven't given up. According to Game Rant, a petition asking EA to reverse its decision is nearing 300,000 signatures. Some players even displayed the message "Save Mass Effect" on a billboard in New York's Times Square. However, EA is unlikely to change course.

The community is keeping the series alive. Modders are working to bring multiplayer to Mass Effect Legendary Edition, and the same team previously restored the Pinnacle Station DLC. While the official channels are quiet, the fans are keeping the spirit going.

Return to Shepard's Story

While waiting for the new figures, why not replay the trilogy? Mass Effect Legendary Edition is available on Steam for PC and on PlayStation Store for consoles. If you're playing on PC, you can top up your funds with a Steam Wallet Code. For PS5 or PS4, a PlayStation Store Gift Card will do the trick.
