The Italian Exotics update for Forza Horizon 6 brings four new Italian cars and resets the Rivals leaderboards due to manipulated scores.
Playground Games has released a major content update for Forza Horizon 6 called Italian Exotics. This update introduces four new Italian cars to the game and completely resets the Rivals leaderboards due to manipulated scores.
Prior to the physics balancing update on June 15, Playground Games discovered that unrealistic Rivals scores were achieved by exploiting Drag tires and various bugs. To ensure fair competition, the studio decided to reset all Rivals leaderboards. While this may disappoint players with legitimate times, the developers believe it’s the best way to give everyone a fresh start. Any Collection Journal rewards earned with those scores will remain in your account. A similar reset is planned for PR Stunts leaderboards, but this will only happen after the related bugs are fixed and no date has been set yet.
Starting July 14 at 15:00 UTC, the Italian Passion Car Pack brings four new vehicles to the Horizon series for the first time: 2025 Ferrari F80, 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB4 Spider, 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, and 1990 Alfa Romeo SE 048SP. Premium Edition owners receive this pack for free, while Standard Edition players can purchase it separately on Steam or the Microsoft Store. Over the next four weeks, the Festival Playlist will also feature new Italian reward cars like the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, 2022 Lamborghini Huracán EVO Spyder, and 1984 De Tomaso Pantera GT5.
Some rare Italian cars, previously available only via Wheelspin, can now be purchased at the Aftermarket dealer near the Horizon Stadium: Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari 599XX Evolution, Ferrari F8 Tributo, Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4, Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, and Lamborghini Diablo GTR are now in stock.
The update adds 52 new objects to EventLab. The Rewind feature returns to Free Roam, an exploit allowing players to copy others’ EventLab creations has been fixed, and a bug where locked settings gave a speed advantage during PR Stunts has been resolved. Visual issues such as chrome paint looking flat on plastic and manufacturer preset colors not displaying correctly with liveries have also been addressed. Improvements have been made to prevent persistent save data loss; after the July 2 platform update, if data loss occurs, the game will now display a warning with an option to restore from the cloud.
If you want to activate the new content pack or your Game Pass membership without sharing credit card details, you can use an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gift card and start exploring the new Italian cars instantly.
