Bethesda has announced that there will be no traditional Fallout Day live stream this year. Instead, a special five-day event will run from October 19 to 23, featuring the first look at the World Pets update for Fallout 76.

What Did Bethesda Say?

In a studio update dated July 17, Bethesda Game Studios confirmed they won't be hosting a Fallout Day broadcast this year. The note also revealed that the 30th anniversary celebration in 2027 will take place live in Washington, D.C. So the big event is planned for next year.

The update also mentions that Fallout 5 is in pre-production and remasters for Fallout 3 and New Vegas are underway, but no release dates have been given. Obsidian is reportedly working on a new Fallout project as well.

October 19-23 Event Schedule

According to reports, Bethesda will spread this year's celebration across five days through social media posts instead of a stream.

No specific times have been announced. All updates are expected to be shared on Bethesda and Fallout's official social media channels.

Will There Be a New Game Announcement?

The schedule does not indicate any new game reveals. In the July update, Bethesda gave no dates for Fallout 5 or the remasters, and the five-day plan does not mention these projects. The most concrete new content is the World Pets update for Fallout 76. The rest focuses on updates to existing games, community content, and collaborations.

Here's my take: Bethesda is saving the big announcements for the 2027 event in Washington. This week, expect smaller but meaningful updates for Shelter, Fallout 4 Creations, and Fallout 76 players.
