WWE 2K24 is leaving digital stores soon grab it before it's gone.
In the past few days, headlines about a “popular game being removed from stores” have been circulating in gaming media, and the game at the center is WWE 2K24. This news especially impacts players who actively enjoy the online modes.
| Event | Date |
| Removed from Digital Sale | January 31, 2026 |
| Server Shutdown | March 31, 2026 |
Starting January 31, 2026, you won’t be able to purchase the game on Steam, PlayStation Store, or Xbox Store. All DLCs and in-game currencies (VC) will also be delisted.
Once the servers go offline, many core features of the game will no longer be accessible:
Online Multiplayer: You won’t be able to play online matches with friends or other players.
MyFACTION: Since this mode is fully online, it will become inaccessible.
Community Creations: You won’t be able to download arenas, belts, or custom characters made by other players.
Important Note: If you already own the game or purchase it before these dates, you’ll still be able to play offline modes like Play Now and Showcase. The game won’t disappear from your library; only the online features will be disabled.
This isn’t a new policy for 2K Sports; they usually shut down older servers about two years after a new title launches (WWE 2K25 is already available). However, seeing WWE 2K24 with its rich content and special tributes like Bray Wyatt retired so soon has reignited the debate around digital game ownership.
If you’re thinking about grabbing the game or your favorite character’s DLC packs, you have until January 2026. Be sure to watch for sales and discounts!
