Nintendo has dropped an unexpected 1.7.0 update for Mario Kart World. This update adds two new routes to the Knockout Tour mode and introduces a sticker feature to Photo Mode.

New Routes in Knockout Tour

Knockout Tour is a mode where 24 drivers compete, and the last racers at each of five checkpoints are eliminated. The update brings two new routes to the game:

• Characters and vehicles with low acceleration now have improved acceleration performance.
• Gliding speed for high-speed characters and some vehicles has been increased.
• Item acquisition rates from item boxes have been rebalanced.

• A new ramp has been added to the race from Airship Fortress to Bowser's Castle.
• Thai language support is now available.

Additionally, several bugs have been fixed, including issues with wall clipping in Bowser's Castle, falling off the screen in Dandelion Depths, and incorrect finish times in Time Trials.
