What Is the Game About?

Splatoon Raiders is the series' first single-player focused spin-off. Players take on the role of a mechanic teaming up with the three-member music group Deep Cut (Shiver, Frye, and Big Man) for a treasure hunt on the mysterious Spirhalite Islands. You can customize your character and gear up with ink-based weapons and upgradeable gadgets.

Spirhalite Islands and Salmonid Enemies

The islands feature mineable Spirhalite crystals, Salmonid-infested dens, facilities accessible only with specific equipment, and underground dungeons. To claim the treasure, you must first defeat the Salmonids in these areas. Enemy types range from harmless but swarming Lesser Salmonids to much tougher foes. Defeated enemies drop both treasure and Power Eggs, which also serve as fuel for your exploration bot.

Exploration Bot and Weapon System

During raids, a Deep Cut member will accompany you with an Exploration Bot, offering extra functions like treasure detection. The game features over 100 weapon variations and, for the first time in the series, supports HDR.

Amiibo and Joy-Con 2 Colors

On launch day, Splatoon Raiders-themed amiibo figures of Shiver, Frye, and Big Man will be available. New Joy-Con 2 color options inspired by Deep Cut will also be released on the same day.

Special Splatfest in Splatoon 3

To celebrate Splatoon Raiders, a "Who is the strongest?" themed Splatfest will take place in Splatoon 3 from July 10 to 12. Players can choose between Team Speed, Team Power, or Team Technique. During the event, nine Splashtags and two titles inspired by Splatoon Raiders will be up for grabs.
