The PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for October 2026 was announced on October 14. There are 9 new games for Extra and Premium members, most of which will be available in the catalog starting October 20.

What's in the October 2026 lineup?

According to GameSpot and PlayStation Blog, the highlights this month are Mafia: The Old Country, Horizon Forbidden West, and Mycopunk. The earliest release is The Midnight Walk, which landed in the catalog on October 14 in the US and UK, and on October 15 in Japan.

Two classics are exclusive to Premium members: Dino Crisis 2 and RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 Complete Edition. Since these are from the Classics section, Extra members won't have access.

Mycopunk: The freshest addition to the catalog

Mycopunk is a co-op sci-fi looter shooter developed by Pigeons at Play and published by Devolver Digital. It’s been in early access on PC since July 10, 2025. According to LevelUp, it’s launching on console with version 1.0 and already has an 88 percent positive rating on Steam. Sony showcased the game at September’s State of Play, with the release date later confirmed in the trailer.

Game Trials and special events

Starting October 20, Premium members can try out two games with limited-time trials: Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy and Mortal Shell 2. Any progress you make will carry over if you purchase the full game.

• Back 4 Blood: Tunnels of Terror DLC is free for Extra and Premium members from October 21 to November 4.
• Dead by Daylight launches a community challenge to reach 10 million matches between October 20 and 26.
• Discounts for the Until Dawn movie start on October 28.

Games for the Essential tier were previously announced: Hunt: Showdown 1896, F1 2025, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.

Games leaving the catalog

According to Notebookcheck, citing Sony, 9 games will leave the Extra and Premium catalog on October 20. The list is based on the US PlayStation Store, so there may be slight differences depending on your region. Essential members are not affected.

• Silent Hill 2
• Yakuza: Like a Dragon
• Gloomhaven: Mercenaries Edition
• Jurassic World Evolution 2
• Rogue Lords
• Lake
• Death Squared
• Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition
• Harvest Moon: One World

If you haven’t finished any of these games, you have until October 20. After they leave the catalog, you’ll need to purchase them to keep playing.

Who is this lineup for?

If you love story-driven games, Mafia and Horizon Forbidden West alone make the subscription worthwhile. Mycopunk is a great choice if you want a fresh co-op experience with friends, while Tales of Arise (arriving October 27) is perfect for JRPG fans. The departure of Silent Hill 2 and Yakuza: Like a Dragon is definitely the biggest downside of October.

If you want to extend your subscription or check out games outside the catalog, you can top up your funds with a PlayStation Store gift card.
