Powerhouse Pokémon 7-Star Raid Series Confirmed for September 2026
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are launching a new 7-Star Tera Raid series from September 25 through early December. Ten Powerhouse Pokémon will return weekly, starting with Dragonite.
Table of Contents
Even though Pokémon Scarlet and Violet have already celebrated their fourth anniversary, the games continue to receive regular content updates. Now, Game Freak is launching a brand-new 7-Star Tera Raid series running from September through early December: the return of the Powerhouse Pokémon.
How the Event Works
The series kicks off with Dragonite featuring the Normal Tera Type on September 25, 2026 at 00:00 UTC. After Dragonite, all ten Powerhouse Pokémon will appear in rotation, with events planned to run weekly until each one has returned. The event is free and open to all players; you just need to have completed the main story and unlocked access to 7-Star Raids.
Why the Mightiest Mark Matters
Every Pokémon caught during this event will have the Mightiest Mark, a rare badge that can only be obtained through special 7-Star Raid events. Each Pokémon can only be caught once per account, but you can farm raid rewards as much as you like—meaning you can keep joining raids for extra rewards even after catching the featured Pokémon.
This Might Be Your Last Chance
The summer 2026 events for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were already a surprise, hinting that support for the games will gradually wind down as Generation 10 approaches. Rumors suggest that Pokémon Winds and Waves will launch in late 2027, so Gen 9 may still receive some events through next year. However, special content like the Powerhouse event and Tera Raids for Starter Pokémon are unlikely to return. If you want to catch these Pokémon with the Mightiest Mark, this is probably your final opportunity.

A Busy Season for the Series
This event lands during an action-packed time for the Pokémon franchise. This week, the 30th Anniversary Pokémon TCG set dropped, new Mega Evolutions were added to Pokémon Champions Regulation M-C and Pokémon Legends: Z-A, and a major anniversary release covering all regions is expected in December. The Powerhouse event stands out as the in-game highlight of these celebrations.
