LEGO 2K Drive will be removed from digital stores next week, while multiplayer servers will remain online until 2027.
Launched in 2023 with high expectations and an exciting open-world mechanic, LEGO 2K Drive is bidding farewell to digital storefronts due to licensing agreements or publisher strategies. However, the developers have decided to phase out the server shutdown process to avoid leaving players who already own or purchased the physical version at a disadvantage.
The game's digital presence will gradually end starting next week:
Delisting from Digital Stores: LEGO 2K Drive will be completely removed from Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Nintendo eShop starting next week. After this date, it will no longer be possible to purchase the game digitally.
Library Guarantee: Players who have already purchased the game or added it to their library before removal will still be able to download and enjoy single-player modes at any time.
Even though the game will be pulled from digital stores next week, you can continue racing online with friends for a while longer:
2K has officially announced that the game's multiplayer servers and online services will be shut down in 2027.
Until then, you can join cross-play races with friends and explore shared maps. After the shutdown, only local split-screen and offline modes will be available.
