Ubisoft brings the Assassin's Creed universe to the stage with Heredis, blending acrobatics and parkour. Premiering December 3, 2026 in Montréal, but don't expect a new game.
Assassin's Creed Heredis is arriving not as a new game, but as a live stage performance in December 2026. The premiere will be held on December 3 at Théâtre Maisonneuve in Montréal.
Heredis (with the subtitle "Echoes of the Past") is a theatrical production inspired by the Assassin's Creed universe. The show blends acrobatics, urban parkour, choreographed combat, and physical theater with large-scale visual sets. Seventeen performers will take the stage, and the show will last about two hours including intermission.
Ubisoft is not alone in this project. They're partnering with Montréal-based circus collective The 7 Fingers (Les 7 Doigts). The production also involves Dead by Daylight developer Behaviour Interactive, La Tribu, and Décibels Productions, while Ubisoft oversees the intellectual property.
The show follows a young man searching for his lost father. On his 25th birthday, he receives a mysterious letter that leads him to the HEREDIS program, launching a journey that spans centuries. Some sources refer to the main character as Nael.
According to the producers, you don’t need to know the Assassin’s Creed series to follow the story. Still, fans will catch plenty of references.
| City | Venue | Date |

| Montréal | Théâtre Maisonneuve, Place des Arts | December 3 - December 20, 2026 |

Ubisoft is bringing Assassin's Creed beyond games with another ambitious project. The announcement was first made on May 7, 2026, with the official trailer and premiere dates revealed on August 5, 2026. While fans are waiting for a new game, this news sparked mixed reactions, since "Assassin's Creed" and "December" together usually hint at a game release. Still, for those eager to see parkour and sword fights live, this stage concept makes perfect sense.
