Epic Games has revealed all the details of the Simpsons update coming to Fortnite Reload. While the Springfield map returns on July 30, the biggest surprise for players is that a Simpsons-inspired John Wick skin will be available for free.

When Does the Update Go Live

Fortnite servers will go into maintenance on July 30 at 4:00 AM ET, with the update launching around 6:00 AM. The Springfield map will be available for a limited time and can only be played until Monday, August 3.

How to Unlock the Simpsons-Style John Wick Skin

• You must own the current Chapter 7 Season 3 Battle Pass.
• Complete the Reload missions that will be active once the update is live.
• If you don't have the Battle Pass, you can still earn other mission rewards, but not the John Wick skin style.

Epic hasn't confirmed whether the skin will be sold in the Item Shop in the future, so for now, the only way to get it is by completing these missions.

The Confidential: New Neutral Zone

Inspired by the Continental Hotel from the John Wick movies, The Confidential is a new neutral area added to the map. Combat is disabled here; passive healing and proximity chat are enabled. If you attack another player, you instantly become "Excommunicado" and are marked as a target for everyone on the map. Only one player can be in this state at a time.

John Wick Sprite

The new John Wick Sprite, introduced with the update, reveals nearby enemies for a few seconds when you knock down or eliminate an opponent. This is the only Sprite available in Reload at launch, and once obtained, it can also be used in Battle Royale mode. You can get the Sprite by extracting it from an eliminated player with the new Portable Extractor, finding it in standard or Sprite chests, or by eliminating a player who already has it.

Returning and New Items

• Cartoon Chainsaw (new melee weapon)
• Krusty Burger, Super Squishee, Mr. Blasty Gun, Blinky Fish (classic Simpsons items returning)
• Tactical Assault Rifle (new weapon)

Solo players can now reboot without a teammate in this mode, offering an easier way to get back into the game compared to the classic Reload format.
