Why the Delay? Key Changes Explained

Battlefield Studios is clearly taking post-Season 1 (Winter Offensive) player feedback seriously. Here are the main reasons for the delay:

• Map Design: Many players felt the current maps were too small and narrow for the Battlefield experience, limiting tactical gameplay.

• Technical Issues: Netcode bugs and hit registration problems have frustrated players, especially in competitive matches.

• Lack of Content: Season 1 fell short of expectations, and aggressive microtransactions led to lower Steam reviews.

No Idle Waiting: “Frostfire” Update Arrives
