Wild Rift is kicking off the winter season with a major move: a massive Engagement Event to get players hyped, and the official reveal of the highly anticipated Shan Hai Scrolls skin series!
As confirmed by Riot Games on Twitter, these new "limited edition" skins and the accompanying event go live on December 11, 2025. Here are all the details.
New Skin Series: Shan Hai Scrolls
Inspired by Chinese mythology, the Shan Hai Scrolls theme transforms champions into ancient dragons and legendary creatures. With this series coming to Wild Rift, in-game visuals are reaching a whole new level.
| Champion | Skin Name | Main Features |
| Kog'Maw | Shan Hai Scrolls Kog'Maw | Abilities enhanced with golden and blue energy, featuring ancient symbols and seals in the visual effects. |
| Fizz | Shan Hai Scrolls Fizz | Instead of the usual sea monster (ultimate), Fizz summons a legendary water dragon with golden horns. |
| Gnar | Shan Hai Scrolls Gnar | In mini Gnar form, he's a cute scroll-inspired figure; in Mega Gnar form, he becomes a fierce jade and fire-themed warrior. |
Major Engagement Event: Missions and Free Rewards
To celebrate the launch of the new skin series, a special Engagement Event is set to boost player excitement. This event usually lasts 2-3 weeks and offers a range of free rewards for completing missions.
-
Expected Missions: Daily or weekly tasks like securing a set number of victories, teaming up with players using the new skins, or dealing a certain amount of damage.
-
Rewards: Shan Hai Scrolls-themed emotes, Poro Coins redeemable with event currency, and a guaranteed random skin chest at the end of the event.
-
Goal: Encourage players to spend more time in-game enjoying the new skins and event atmosphere.
Release Date and Market Impact
The skins and event officially launch on December 11, 2025. This is a strategic move to boost player activity and skin sales right before the holiday season.
