Fifteen years later, Re-Logic has once again propelled Terraria to the top! The massive 1.4.5 "Bigger and Boulder" update, released yesterday (27 January 2026), blends nostalgia with fresh content, pushing the game to its highest player numbers in the last six years.

After years of development, this patch doesn't just add new content;

Epic Crossovers

• Dead Cells: Beheaded costume, hanging potion bottles, Mushroom Boi minion, and iconic weapons like The Flint are now available in the game.

• Palworld: Fan-favourite pals Cattiva, Digtoise (can dig through blocks), and Foxparks (usable as sentry/flamethrower) have arrived in Terraria! Plus, the Pal Metal Armor set is now available.

Quality of Life & Mechanic Improvements

• Advanced Crafting: You can now craft items using materials from nearby chests without opening them. With the new search bar and categorised interface, navigating through more than 6,000 items is easier than ever.

• New Seeds: The brand-new "Skyblock" seed lets you start on a completely empty island. You can now also combine secret world seeds for unique experiences.

• Boulder Variety: True to its name, the update introduces gravity-defying, rainbow-bouncing, and even weather effects that rain boulders from the sky.
